Hi there and welcome to Carnelian Studios! My name is Ciera, I’m 28 years old and I’ve been doing hair for 10 years. Hair cutting is my passion, but color services have my heart. I’m a short hair specialist, but don’t get me wrong, I love all hair equally! After I graduated from cosmetology school in 2014, I immediately started working in a salon that summer. Since then, I have attended and become certified by Vidal Sassoon Academy; I had the opportunity to attend and finish their program in Toronto, Canada in 2018.

I created Carnelian Studios in August 2024, not only wanting to be my own boss but to also have my own private sanctuary. A safe space for me and my clients is the most important thing to me (aside from the beauty and health of your hair of course)! Coming into Carnelian is more than just coming into a salon to get your hair done; it’s coming into a home. My home is, and will always be, a safe and welcoming environment meant for everyone.
